My career started as a warehouse person in Woolworths driving a picker! From there I moved into Woolworths Head Office and was fortunate to be offered the job of Financial Accountant with Harvey Norman in 1998. I was promoted to Financial Controller and after four years looking after the company’s financial position I was offered the role of GM Finance and Administration. This was in 2006 and the broad and interesting role of GM, reviewing administration and warehousing along with the financial interests of the business, has kept me busy ever since!
I believe the quick success of Harvey Norman New Zealand is down to the sheer determination and perseverance from everyone who works here. We have a passion for our positions and realise we do not stand alone but among a team of like minded, committed individuals who strive, and have a willingness, to succeed.
