Harvey Norman has spread rapidly throughout the country, challenging and changing every market that it competes in; to a point now where it holds commanding market shares in all categories.
Personally my own experience at Harvey Norman has been an amazing journey and proof that you can go as far as your determination will allow. My first day at Harvey Norman was at the newly opened Wairau Park Store where I joined the Whiteware Sales Team. Then I moved to Whiteware Manager at Manukau, Electrical Proprietor in Christchurch and now General Manager of the Electrical Division.
It is the expectation that employees contribute in this company and that they are never afraid to have a go. They understand that if they do their work and help others with theirs then they’ll get the same in return.
